Thanksgiving 2008

We had a slumber party at our place this year for thanksgiving. We had my brother Scott and his girlfriend Alicia and my parents come to stay for a few days. The kids love having people stay over at our place, they typically give our guests a early morning wake up call by barging in the door and shining a flashlight in their eyes!

Halloween 2008

First day of pre-school!!

Grace had a great first day of school. She is going 2 days a week and loves it. I was worried that I would be sad when I drove away from the school, but I was actually just very proud of her!

white water rafting - moms gone wild!

I went white water rafting with 4 girlfriends and we had an amazing time. I felt like a kid again, major adrenalin rush! It was by far the best "moms day off" in a long time. We jumped off of a 40 foot bridge during the trip, what a rush. It was a great day full of good times and good friends.

Montana or bust

We packed up and headed east to Montana for a "Grizwald style roadtrip" vacation! We enjoyed our selves and the kids really enjoyed time with their cousins. Glad to be home in WA, but always have fun in MT.

South Carolina to Washington

Our cousins the Groudins ventured west to Washington from South Carolina for a vacation. We really enjoyed having their family stay for a few days. Aunt Kathy and Grandpa Dewey joined us too!

Grandpa & Grandmas for the 4th

We went north to Darrington for the 4th of July to hang out with Grandma Donna & Grandpa Dewey. The kids had fun with the kiddy fireworks, and then when the big ones started they were ready to go inside. They love to soak in the tub while at Gram & Gramps.

Birthday Bash

We had Grace's 4th and Harrisons 2nd birthday party this weekend. The kids had a blast swimming in the backyard with all of their buddies. We were lucky to have great weather for the party, once it was over we had a big thunder & lightening storm!

Dance Recitle

Grace had her first dance recital this weekend and it was great. She ended up front and center on the stage and she rocked it. Her confidence was shining bright and she loved having all eyes on her!
